Essex Nordic Skiers -
Thank you everyone for another great season! Full state meet results can be found at Barttiming- Two 4th place finishes overall (boys and girls), and a podium finish for our boy's freestyle relay is impressive! If any of you have free time this upcoming week the Junior Nationals are being held at Trapp Family Lodge in Stowe. This would be a great chance to see many of the nation's best young skiers, right in our backyard. Information and a schedule of events can be found at Stowe JN
Even though the season is officially over, the snow is still here, and yes, that means skiing is still here! If conditions permit, I will have the school field groomed the next two weeks for people to ski. Reminder that all of you are clear to ski at Sleepy Hollow as well - they should be going strong for several more weeks. The Range will also be available Tuesdays and Thursdays for the next month in the afternoons - this is always an excellent spot for your late season skiing desires!
Friday, 3/7 at 2:45 we will meet in the blue locker room to hand in uniforms, put summer wax on skis (if you do not plan to ski anymore), clean up the wax room, and vote for next year's captains. I only ask that you make my life easier, and have your uniform (spandex top, bottom, warm up jacket, and lazorband headband) in a plastic bag with your name on it. By this time I should have a date set for the banquet.
Check out these awesome photos from states and other season meets here...
