- The bus for tomorrow's race will be leaving at 7:30. Skiers, be at EHS no later than 7:20. We should be arriving at Sleepy Hollow between 8 and 8:15 AM. The race starts at 10 AM.
- If the hosts of the race decide to cancel the race due to bad roads, a mass email will be sent to skiers and parents by 6:15 AM.
- The running orders have already been made, please check your email for those.
- Waxing will go in this order: VG, VB, JVG, JVB, etc. (Skiers respect your teammates and DO NOT GO BEFORE YOUR TURN)
- Please review the Craftsbury race info from my earlier post about venue-specific details covering parking, dogs, etc.
- Here is the most recent race information: Varsity race - 5 laps, JV/MS race - 3 laps. The course will be on the 1k man made loop, and we will travel clockwise around the loop (down the hill by the round barn and up Tina Turner).
- Craftsbury Weeking is Coming Up! 1/22-1/24: I'm happy to report that most (if not all) of the team will be going to Craftsbury weekend.
- The cost is $16/skier per night so 2 nights=$32. Please make checks out to: EHS student activities. Skiers, please have checks handed in by Thursday Jan 21 at the latest!
- Parents, please consider offering rides to support the Craftsbury trip! This is a rough estimate of our unmet transportation needs right now:
- Friday night Range ->Craftsbury: 1 more parent with room for 4 skiers with skis
- Saturday morning: Inn -> Craftsbury: 1-2 more parents to transport 4 skiers with skis
- Saturday afternoon: Craftsbury -> Inn: 2-3 more parents to transport 10 skiers with skis
- Sunday morning: Inn ->Craftsbury: Enough parents to transport 17 skiers with skis
- Sunday: Craftsbury ->EHS: Enough parents to transport 13 skiers with skis
- Parents: please stay tuned for chaperone needs. It's likely that we'll be looking for a few more folks to stay overnight.
Rest well! Drink lots of water! Go Hornets!
