Good Evening, lots of information for you below:

Here is our practice schedule in preparation for our classic race on Saturday 1/16 at Sleepy Hollow (details posted below).

Tomorrow, Tuesday 1/12: Practice at EHS. Bounding interval loop, tree farm. Dress WARMLY and in LAYERS!!!

Wednesday, 1/13: Practice at EHS. Core (curcuit?), Moderate run, Classic ski @EHS (conditions permitting), Kick wax background.

Thursday, 1/14: Practice @ Range - Waxing, Intervals, technique.

Friday, 1/15: Prerace @ EHS - Glide waxing, kick wax background, & Film: Jessie Diggins, Sophie Caldwell, & Co.

Saturday, 1/16: Classic Race @ Sleepy Hollow (subject to change):

• Teams: U-32, Mont, CVU, CHS, MMU, St. J, Essex, BFA-SA, BHS, SBHS, 
• Start time: 10:00 am 30 second interval starts in pairs
• Race Order:Varsity Girls, followed by Varsity Boys, JV Girls, JV Boys, Middle School
• Divisions and Distances:  Varsity – 5 km, JV and Middle School – 3 km 
• Other considerations: 
• Parking is limited please carpool, busses will park along the back of the parking lot. Families please bring only one car per family to spectate, NO DOGS
• Waxing is available in the pavilion and the round barn will be available for racers
• Please use the round barn and limit traffic to the Nordic Center and Inn for tourists.

CRAFTSBURY weekend:

• Skiers, please send me an email indicating whether you plan on attending (you should!!!) or not.
• I'm anticipating pricing information for parents shortly. If cost is an issue, please contact me.
• Sign ups for carpool and meals are ongoing. Parents, please consider these options!

On January 30th, We (EHS) will be hosting a meet at the Ethan Allen firing range in Jericho, we will need parent volunteers to help run the race. Including timing, bib recovery, starting, finishing, and more. Parents please save the date and consider helping out, this is a great time for EHS to represent ourselves to the skiing community!
