Mt. Mansfield Hike

Today's hike up Mt. Mansfield marked the last day of our 'preseason' gatherings.  Despite Thanksgiving only being two days away, several members of the EHS Nordic community were able to make the trek out to Mansfield.  It was exciting seeing so many!  All in all we had 17 current Nordic members, 2 Nordic alumni, 1 parent hiker, (and 1 dog)!   The not so exciting part was that trail conditions were quite icy, which limited our hiking time.  Even though we did not make it to the top, we did manage to climb high enough to get catch some good views and lots of sunshine!  On an ending note, it was really a pleasure to have good parent support and to see alumni skiers (and a parent) join the hike.  We would have not been able to have 17 skiers without parents driving.  Thank you!
