Assistant Nordic Ski Coach Needed -

Training Options over Thanksgiving Break – 

We will not be meeting as a group over break.  However, please use the schedule below as much as you would like, or as much as you feel appropriate.  You will notice for each activity there is a listed time range indicating the duration.  Use your best judgment based on your current fitness to determine where you would fall within the listed time range duration.  There are a lot of opportunities waiting to be had.  So... get together and go for a run, ski, bike, rollerski, or whatever you can do, as the official season is just around the corner!

Saturday, Nov. 23rd - 
- Westford Turkey Trot: 2 mile or 10K running race - westfordturkeytrot.wordpress.com
Craftsbury opens! Skiing should be available all throughout Thanksgiving week. Check out this link for snow condition and other updates -  Craftsbury Information 
Individual students can ski for only $5.00/day. For anyone who has the time and transportation, this is an awesome place to get time in on snow!

Sunday, Nov. 24th - 
- Distance: Easy Run (40 - 60 min.) or Bike/Ski/Rollerski (60 – 90 minutes easy)
- Again, Craftsbury should be open
Monday, Nov. 25th - 
- Core Workout: (workout options listed under 'training' tab)
- Run: 25 - 45 minutes or Ski/Rollerski 60 minutes  
Wednesday, Nov. 26th - 
- Core Workout: (workout options listed under 'training' tab)
- Run: 30 - 50 minutes or Ski/Rollerski (60 - 70 minutes)
Thursday, Nov. 27th - Happy T-Day!
- Green Mountain Athletic Association Turkey Trot – UVM Campus
Information -
Friday, Nov. 28th -  
- Core Workout: (workout options listed under 'training' tab)
- Run: 30 – 50 minutes or Rollerski 
Saturday, Nov. 29th -  
- Ski, run, bike, hike, core - anything!! 
 By this time there might be more places with snow to ski – ex, the notch road in Jeffersonville
Sunday, December 1st –
- Craftsbury Opener NENSA Race: Freestyle Technique. 5k girls, 10K boys – This should only be an option for our older/more experienced skiers.  If interested, please let me know so I can offer race support.
- Distance: Easy Run/Bike/Ski/Rollerski/Hike (60 – 90 minutes)
Monday, December 2nd –
- First day of Nordic!  Have yellow consent form.

Fundraiser -

Please use this time over break to make sales! Order forms will be due December 9th.  A few important things - please let customers know that they do not need to pay until their items have been delivered.  If they do decide to pay early, that is fine, just have them make checks out to 'Essex Student Activities.'  Also, let them know that items will be delivered before Christmas!  More details for this year's fundraiser can be found under the 'fundraising' tab of this site.
