Essex Nordic Practice -Training Opportunities: 11/22 – 12/1

Extended fundraiser dates:  

I have extended the fundraiser sell-packet due date until Monday, December 1^st.  This should give everyone ample time to sell.  Right now we are not doing as well as I had planned.  Please update the bar graph in the blue locker room each time we practice, as this is the only way for us to know where we stand.  This is a perfect week to ask family and friends to support our team by purchasing something from the catalog.  Everyone needs to sell something.  This is your way of supporting our equipment and wax budget.  

Saturday, 11/22: On your own.
- Option 1: Westford Turkey Trot: 5k or 10k race options. This would be a good speed workout for anyone interested - Information
- Option 2: Craftsbury Ski Center is open! If you have the transportation, get out for a ski! -  Crafsbury website 
- Possible waxing/ski prep time at EHS in the blue locker room: If skiers are interested in having extra time to work on skis, I can have the blue wax room open later Saturday afternoon. Pay attention for more details.

Sunday, 11/23: On your own. Distance.
- Option 1: Again, Craftsbury Ski Center will be open: I will be at Craftsbury starting at 9:30 a.m. Sunday morning to help out anyone wishing to get on snow time (skate ski). Skiing at Craftsbury is free to any high school skier if the coach is present.
- Option 2: Distance run/rollerski: 40 – 60 minute run, or 70 - 90 minute rollerski (any technique)

Monday, 11/24: Practice @ EHS - 9:00

- Run/Technique

Tuesday, 11/25: Practice @ EHS - 9:00
- Partner warm up drill
- Bound/Technique review
- Rollerski/Run

Wednesday, 11/26: On your own.
- Run/rollerski. Run: 35-45 minutes, R ski: 60-80 minutes

Thursday, 11/27: Happy T-Day! On your own.

Friday, 11/28: On your own.
