Updates 2/16

Glide waxing and base cleaning tomorrow: This will need to be done BEFORE 12:30. The blue locker room will be open at 7 AM or slightly before for those of you without study halls. Keep in mind, you need to balance academics, rides to school, and other commitments with waxing. This may mean you won't have a chance to get new glide wax on before 12:30. If that happens you will simply race with the same glide wax from Monday.

The race tomorrow is in Craftsbury: Out of class @ 12:55 bus leaves @ 1:15 we will most likely arrive back at EHS around 7:30 PM.
The mass start will be done in waves, EHS in wave 2. There won't be separate JV/Varsity races.

• 3:00 MS Mixed
• 3:40 Wave #1, 3:50 Wave #2 High School Boys
• 4:25 Wave #1 4:35 Wave #2 High School Girls

States are coming up! The Classic meet is on February 27th at Prospect, near Bennington. The freestyle (skate) meet is on Tuesday, March 1, at Rikert. Skiers for the classic meet will head down on the 26th and stay overnight. More details to come about accommodations and schedule! The VPA Nordic Skiing guide for states is available here.

We need waxing volunteers for states! Any parents with waxing expertise who are available to help out, please get in touch with Ben. Waxing volunteers are needed to make sure skiers have competitive wax and time to test.
