Hello All!  I hope everyone had a nice Christmas – Please read this carefully.

Due to the impending Nor’easter targeted to hit the region tonight and throughout tomorrow, tomorrow’s skate race at Sleepy Hollow has been bumped back to Friday (12/28).  This means that we will NOT be meeting for practice tomorrow as driving conditions are expected to be bad.

Do not worry that we will not have a chance to meet as a team to wax skis before Friday.  At this point the most important things are that we – 1) will be getting a chance to spend more time on snow, and – 2) having the opportunity to ski fast for those who feel they are ready.  Because I had to send in a race running order this morning and have not gotten a chance to discuss this as a team, I had to use my best judgment as to who will be racing, and in what race.  I am attaching the running order.  Please look this over carefully.   If you do not see your name listed, and do want to race, please let me know ASAP.  If you are a younger skier, and still feel like you would benefit from another day of skiing rather than racing, please let me know ASAP so I can make the necessary changes.

Below are some race day specifics -
Race start time is 10:00. Order of races is shown below-
Varsity boys, then Varsity girls- 5k skate
Jv boys then Jv girls - 3k skate
middle school - 3k skate

The bus will leave EHS at Friday morning at 8:00. Please be at school around 7:50.
