Essex Nordic Skiing

Week of 12/17 -

Prior to the start of our fundraiser I had made a goal to raise $630 to help pay for the cost of our new custom designed race bibs. With great efforts from many of the skiers we managed to raise just over $1,000!! Awesome job. Skiers will be able to pick up their items for distribution either on Monday, or Tuesday at the very latest. We are still waiting for one more box of goods to be delivered.

Distribution and money collecting - I will be handing back the original order forms to each skier so they can be used as a guide for distribution. All products should be distributed as soon as possible! Do not take more than two days to do this. Be sure that money is collected from all customers who have not paid yet, and put money in the order form packet. It wouldn't be a bad idea to have the money in a separate envelope, inside the order form for safe keeping.

Practice and Racing This Week -
At this point everything is up in the air until we get some snow... The upcoming forecast looks pretty messy with mixes of rain and snow showers for much of the week, and temps in the mid/upper 30’s. No significant storms. Even though we are scheduled to bus Tuesday to the Range for practice, I am not certain this will be happening given the current forecast. So, this means that skiers need to be flexible to either dry land train at EHS, or have the necessary equipment to ski at the Range, or at EHS. Below is a tentative schedule. Please keep in mind this is subject to change depending on how the weather plays out....
