Hope everyone had a great weekend! A few things –
The costume relays are this Thursday @ Colchester. Skiers can choose their teams (teams of 2), but need to sign up through this Google docs link. In order for me to meet the deadline in handing the teams in, I am asking that all skiers provide their teams by tomorrow night (Monday, the 3rd).
Secondly, here is the link to register for Sunday’s J2/Eastern High School qualifier races - Vermontehscj2qualifier. Please note that this is not a regular public high school race, and all entries must be completed by individual racers through SkiReg. I will discuss more about this race in detail tomorrow, but can answer a few questions now…. Is this race mandatory? No. This is not part of the regular high school schedule; therefore I cannot make it mandatory. However, if you are a consistent Varsity racer I would like for you to compete for the following reasons… It is a great chance to see and experience high level competition from other schools and organizations around the state. Also, the setup of the race is similar to what the state meet will be; race in the morning, followed by another race in the afternoon. Thirdly, it is another race! After having a lighter race schedule this week and last week, it would be great for our more experienced racers to use this as development and preparation for the later part of the season! Lastly, I guarantee you will have fast skis for this race!
